In view of the conclusions from the environmental analysis, PPFN will continue to grow and develop as a broad-based SRH and rights organization working primarily with young people but also adults. While remaining a federal organization, PPFN will pursue five core goals to which all the federating units will subscribe, adapted to suit the differing local circumstances and needs. The set of five goals and 16 strategic objectives will build on and strengthen past and current efforts while opening important new lines of action or expanding existing ones. The set of goals and objectives allows visibility for and focus on each of the identified program areas (national SRH advocacy, access to information and services, and reduction of barriers to SRH and rights), in addition to institution building (technical capability and sustainability).

Together, the goals and strategic objectives will enhance the relevance and effectiveness of PPFN in leading, coordinating and supporting the efforts of CSOs and the private commercial sector to advance the SRH and rights agenda in Nigeria.
