Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria (PPFN) is at the forefront of ensuring universal access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). Through advocacy, partnerships, and strategic resource mobilization, we empower women, men, and young people with life-saving services, education, and support across Nigeria.

As part of our commitment to expanding access to SRHR and strengthening our organizational impact, we are seeking a dynamic Advocacy and Resource Mobilization Manager to lead and implement strategies that will enhance our advocacy efforts and secure sustainable funding to drive our mission forward.

 

Your Role:

    • Lead the development and execution of advocacy strategies to influence policies that promote SRHR in Nigeria.

    • Strengthen PPFN’s resource mobilization efforts, securing funding from institutional donors, the private sector, and philanthropic partners.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, civil society organizations, development partners, and corporate entities to advance SRHR.

    • Drive innovative fundraising approaches, including grant writing, proposal development, and donor engagement.

    • Enhance PPFN’s visibility and positioning by participating in high-level advocacy and donor engagement forums.

    • Ensure alignment between advocacy initiatives and resource mobilization strategies to maximize impact and sustainability.

 

What You Bring:

    • A proven track record in advocacy and policy influence, particularly in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights.

    • Demonstrated experience in resource mobilization, donor engagement, and fundraising, with a strong understanding of proposal development and grant management.

    • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.

    • Strong political acumen and cultural sensitivity, with the ability to navigate multi-sectoral partnerships.

Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Development Studies, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

    • Certification in advocacy, fundraising, or project management is an added advantage.

    • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in advocacy and resource mobilization, with a track record of securing funding from institutional donors, foundations, and the private sector.

    • Strong knowledge of international development, donor relations, and policy advocacy.

    • Experience in managing relationships with government agencies, multilateral organizations, and the private sector.

    • Proven ability to develop and implement successful advocacy strategies and fundraising campaigns.

    • Knowledge of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and international development frameworks is an asset.
