Dr Paul Odigbo Tochukwu has over 10 years’ experience working with humanitarian organizations, including 8 years clinical work, both development and emergency humanitarian contexts. Before joining Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria (PPFN), Dr Paul Odigbo worked with Doctor’s Without Boarders also known as Medecins Sans Frontieres Spain and Holland Operational Centers in Northwest Nigeria for humanitarian response to conflict, specializing in nutrition and maternal healthcare. In the Northeast Nigeria, he worked as a Medical Doctor (Supervisor) and Ag Health Manager with International Rescue Committee New York Nigeria Country Program. He is trained in Public Health Emergency Operation Center and Occupational health and safety for health workers in the context of COVID- 19 by World Health Organization as well as leadership training by International Rescue Committee New York. He is certified in improving Global Health: Focusing on quality and safety, Building Better Response, Humanitarian response to conflict and disaster from Harvard University, HealthCare Management and Executive Leadership from Cornell University, Global Quality Maternal and Newborn Care from Yale University United States. Dr Paul Odigbo is a Medical Doctor with qualifications from Anambra State Nigeria. He has a Masters Degree in International Public Health from University of Liverpool John Moores, United Kingdom. He also gained the NEBOSH International Occupational Health and Safety Qualifications as a health and safety advisor from NEBOSH United Kingdom.
